This is my second pair of lace up ‘blunnies’Based upon my last pair which did daily duty walking the streets of NYC through almost two years. I used them camping & hiking out west in Monument Valley and Zion National Park as well as the following year in Yosemite and Mount Whitney trail in the Sierras. These boots are outstanding. Versatility is key. Paired with a good quality hiking sock, they are unbeatable.I tend to be hard on foot ware because of my size- 6’-2” and 205lbs. The slightly angled heel strike saves unsightly and uneven ware. I also added a insole after the first six months to provide extra cushioning after inevitable ware on original insole. This is a consideration. The boot is extremely light, compared to a similar styled Redwing or Frye boot and cheaper. The flat lace provided by Blundstone will not last long. Replace with a round hiking lace within two months of daily use. They are certainly worth the investment. You will be very satisfied. Great quality piece to add to your wardrobe.I am someone who goes through shoes quickly, but I've had these babies for over two years and they are in fantastic condition. They were my daily boots for about a year. I then purchased another pair of Blunnies which became my primary pair, and these were more of a backup. I most recently wore them on a two day hiking trip in Vermont, and they were so comfortable. No blisters or sore feet! The best thing about Blundstones is their versatility. I've worn these to shows, bars, museums, hiking, traveling. You can dress them up or down. One note I will say, the laces didn't last too long, maybe six months. Those are easily replaceable, however!Definitely recommend snagging yourself a pair - I often see these for only $100, which is much cheaper than buying directly from Blundstones! These Lace ups are just as good if not better than the slip ons. They form to your feet a little better because of the laces and the ability to adjust the tightness. That being said, getting your foot into them the first time is a little challenging. The laces need to be loosened quite a bit which isn’t great. But I’ll take the trade off for the good fit.Going through rain storms presently and they seem totally water proof though it doesn’t say that in the product description. I’m a fan. Been wearing them every day since I got themI went directly to Blundstone's website for an exact fit. I followed their "quiz" to find out my size. I ordered the exact size that was suggested for my foot, even measured my foot on a piece of paper as they suggested. I barely got my foot in the shoe and the vamp, or the area that comes across the top of your foot at the bottom of the lace-up, is way too snug. Also the shoe arrived very scuffed up as seen in the photos.I've had many pairs of Blundstone boots, but not the lace-up style. This is my first pair that doesn't just slip on.This pair of boots fits exactly as I'd expect based on my prior experience. The were a little stiff for a couple hours, but very soon I was able to wear them for an extended period without any trouble at all. There was virtually no "break in" time.I've only had these for a few weeks, so I can't speak to the overall durability of these boots, but if they're anything like every other pair of Blundstones I've had, I'll be wearing them for years.Dream come true. I've always loved the pull on style, but have needed the support of lace up in the ankle. Who knew I could order men's shoes and have them fit so well. And they are so darn cute!!!! Love the tumbled leather in this lace up style. Nice room in toe box. Sorry Mr. Bean, you may have met your match. However, we'll see if they hold up to the elements as well as Bean's boot!!I love these boots; they fit a bit large for the size I picked. My feet breathe in them so much better than my cheap winter boots. I am going to be somewhat cautious wearing these in snow, because they don't seem to be as waterproof as my cheap crap work boots. They're gorgeous, and the color is almost what it looks like in the picture. It's more comfortable than I expected. I like it!Matt blue-black boots. After a few days of wearing them they're fine. The boot's design is smaller in the overall volume than e.g. a Timberland. The heel cup in particular feels a little low and more like a shoe's heel cup than a boot's.The lacing is relatively open when the boots are on whereas on my feet a DM or Timberland is almost laced with the 2 pieces with the eyelets touching. The top of the boot is slightly loose against my ankle/calf when laced firmly. This makes for a comfortable fit and would be more suitable for folks with larger ankles and calves than some boots might be.The lining of the boots is well done and helps keep them comfortable even in hot conditions.I've not yet got to test them in the wet but there is a bellows-like tongue that looks like it'll keep water out to the 2nd or 3rd eyelet.Amazon refused to return payment of a pair of €150 boots that was returned to them using their provided return label. Because they have not "registered the return". The carrier have confirmed that the parcel was delivered and Amazon refuses to acknowledge the fact even though I, as a customer, have prooved that the parcel have indeed been delivered. Their Customer Support makes you run in circles. They're looking for dead ends to guide you into. And they have no trust in their customers. They even refuse to sign a document provided by the carrier to confirm they are the supposed recipients, and this keeps from engaging in further investigations together with the carrier. We're talking medieval-level poor customer experience. I will dissuade everyone I know from using Amazon.co.uk. And I will stop from using them myself. Also, since this is obviously a product review, the boots were too small..Quality boots without doubt and I wish I could get my right size, that my fault. I bought size 8 & I’m 7 1/2 I thought the boots will cause some blisters and I hate that but it turns out the quality and the lightweight and softness were of quality and I have no doubt that I will be getting another pair but this time without laces and the correct size. The quality is awesome, terrific and happy with the purchaseIf it's new it's new these were tried on a few times by the looks of them.Definite creating in the left bootIt's better to describe things as they are rather than how you'd like them to be.If these boots were a person they’d be Bradley Cooper. Super cool, understated and classic good looks.
