This is as good as it was when watched over 30 years ago. Still a lovely show for girls in particular, especially if they are mad on horses. Not overly dated. Great stories. Usually happy endings. A real feel-good show with enough drama to keep viewers interested. Some may find it a bit soppy but passionate animal-loving girls, who've been untouched by the cynicism of the 21st century, would probably still lap it up. Great to see no digital re-mastering and the scratchy flickering of the film is virtually undetectable unless you are looking for it. Still a fantastic show and happy to say that adulthood has not dimmed the enjoyment of it.
